This is the travel report due for boys and girls. Last weekend, Emily, William and I travelled to Montreal and Quebec City. We had a wonderful French encounter.

5/23 morning we took the plane to Montreal. In the afternoon, we went to Balisica of Notre-Dame, then we rode on a horse-drawn carriage to traverse the old Montreal downtown area. After that, we took a cab to Olympia Park, and got lifted to the top of the Olympia tower overseeing the whole Montreal. The evening we ate in Chinatown. Lobster, frogs and fish were delicious in that small Chinatown.

5/24 morning we rented a car and started to drive towards Quebec City where time was turned back to a 17th Century French-style town. While we were walking in Old Quebec with other excited tourists, all those attraction: Hotel le Chateau frontenac, Royal Place, terrace, medieval gates&walls, and all those buildings in magical shapes along winding streets created a fantastic image of entering an unique city: it is the 17th century heart of a profoundly European town. We explored this beautiful Quebec carved into the bluffs overlooking the St. Lawrence River, but shut off from the rest of the world by its aging walls by shopping, eating French food, meditating on foot ...

5/25 morning we visited Citadel, then Ste-anne-de-beaupre church where we made a few good wishes. Then we walked on the swinging suspension bridges above the waterfalls of Grand Canyon of Quebec, in the rain...

5/26 we had nowhere to visit, so we drove around downtown, stopped at National Battlefields Park for a while. In the afternoon, we took the plane back to NYC.

5/27 we worked, thinking of Quebec

5/28 we worked thinking of another trip to....

5/29 we hate working....

5/30 we have to work for money.
